Cancelling your tour

• More than 72 hours (3 days) before the start time: full refund.
• Between 72 and 24 hours before the start time: 50% refund.
• Less than 24 hours before the start time, or no-show: no refund.

To cancel, reply to your booking email or write to contact.marbo@gmail.com. The time we receive your message (Japan time) is used.

Changing your date

You can change your date free of charge up to 72 hours before the tour, subject to guide availability. Within 72 hours we will do our best to help, but a change may be treated as a cancellation.

Bad weather

Tours run in light rain, sometimes with small route changes. If the Japan Meteorological Agency issues a storm, heavy rain or typhoon warning for the tour area, or major public transport is suspended, we will contact you to offer a new date or a full refund.

If you choose to cancel because of light rain, the standard policy above applies.

If we need to cancel

If we must cancel for any reason (for example, a guide’s illness with no replacement available), you can choose a new date or a full refund.

Late arrival

Your guide will wait up to 30 minutes after the start time. Please message your guide if you are running late. The tour will still end at the scheduled time.

Refunds

Refunds are made to the original payment method, normally within 10 business days.
