In Osaka, the best conversations happen over a counter. This evening walk takes you from the neon of Dotonbori into the small places where locals actually eat — and teaches you how to order, what to try, and what not to do with the shared sauce.
You’ll taste takoyaki from a stall that has been turning them for decades, splash water on the moss-covered statue in lantern-lit Hozenji Yokocho, stand shoulder to shoulder at a kushikatsu bar, and end in a backstreet izakaya in Ura-Namba.
Your guide handles the menus and the ordering. You just eat, ask questions, and enjoy the noise.
